phoenix theater

Theater in Petaluma, California where I spent most of my youth. I practically grew up backstage there and on it's sidewalk. I saw bands such as Primus, Mr Bungle, Greenday, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nomeansno, Victim's Family, Mirv, Guar, the Ramones, plus, too many others to list, or even remember. Managed by the dear Tom Gaffey, and owned by a couple miracle men who bought it, saving it at the last minute from certain death.

“Mark's paintings instantly trigger a warped deja vu. His work recalls a parallel universe of 1950s Golden Books and the whimsy of Lewis Carroll. His cheery bunnies, rendered in the glowing hues of children’s books, are likely to be carving slabs of meat rather than frolicking in the forest.”
